The Quality Manager is responsible for leading the quality initiatives within the Masonite Quality Management System (QMS) at the Laurel, Mississippi, Masonite Plant.
The job is a hands-on approach working directly with manufacturing operations as well as customers to ensure the manufacturing process and product meet all quality
specifications. The position must manage the implementation of an effective Quality Management System. The Quality Manager is responsible for a team of approximately
30 employees and is expected to coach and develop team members, improve skill-sets, identify best practices and optimize the use of quality tools. The Quality Manager
must work in a partnership with manufacturing to facilitate problem identification and to seek solution. The position must understand and use data-collection analytics,
and metrics to communicate and build a sustainable quality process at the plant level.
This job opening is located at Masonite's largest manufacturing facility in Laurel, Mississippi. The plant manufactures interior and exterior molded door skins. The primary
manufacturing operations includes three molded door skin production lines, two coating and trimming manufacturing lines, eight exterior fiberglass presses, and a sheet molding
compound operation. The plant employees 490 team members who have the responsibility to provide the best product and service to our customers.

o Implements and leads site Quality Management System.
o Coordinates all product inspection and audit activities.
o Engaged in all QMS process audits.
o Manage all on-site product testing and test lab functions.
o Monitors, controls, and analyzes product and process quality to meet internal and external customer requirements.
o Partners with production and maintenance in detecting root causes for non-conformance product.
o Working relationship with customers to address quality and performance issues.
o Interacts with suppliers to ensure raw material conformance to requirements.
o Determine and maintain standards for quality and reliability of finished products.
o Implementing QMS procedures through training and communication of standards, metrics, and procedures.
o Responsible for development of the Quality Assurance team.
o Works with management staff in analyzing data for purpose of developing and implementing preventative measures to limit or eliminate quality defects.
o Prepares quality assurance reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
o Ensures site audit readiness and hosts Quality System audits and executes Quality Management System reviews.
o Helps drive continuous improvement efforts.

Bachelor's degree

Minimum of 4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Experience working within a Quality Management System environment.

Supervisor or Managerial experience in a work nvironment with proven quality processes.

Lean and Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification highly desired.

Certified as a Quality Engineer (CQE), or Quality Manager (CQM) or Quality Auditor (CQA) is desired.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as presentation and facilitation skills.

Proven leadership skills (experience with leading, coaching and managing projects successfully).

Understanding of Quality Management tools including Process Capability, Statistical Process Control, Root Cause Analysis,
o Flow Charts, Check Sheets, Process Maps, FMEA, Control Plans, etc.

Excellent command of Microsoft Office programs including MS-Excel, MS Word, and MS Power-Point.

Proven analytical and problem solving skills
oEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
