Under the general direction of the Accounting Manager, the Accountant administers and coordinates assigned general accounting activities. Activities include account reconciliations, payroll, billing, accounts payable, product costing, T&E, etc. which support the mill's $230mm sales and $150mm cost of sales. Customers include mill personnel, mill technical and management, corporate administration and management, etc.

Responsibilities:
Analysis - Provides insightfully/timely accounting analysis to management and mill teams as required.
Policies and Procedures - Help to insure that all accounting controls, policies and procedures are effective, up to date and being followed.
Account Reconciliations - Provide monthly reconciliation of G/L accounts assigned making adjusting entries as needed.
Audit - Answer assigned audit requests from internal, external and other auditors as required to provide meaningful insight into the mill financials

Qualifications:
BS Degree in Accounting
0-2 years experience in general accounting

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
