JOB SUMMARYPlans, develops, organizes, implements, evaluates, and directs the billing and collection for both LTC facilities.
Develops and implements processes and systems to manage billing, collections, resident trust, liability notices, general ledger functions, and business/payroll transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and current state and federal laws/regulations.
QUALIFICATIONSPrefer1 year billing experience in healthcare related fieldKnowledgeable of Skilled Nursing Home regulations, procedures, laws, regulations, and generally accepted accounting principles.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS / ASSIGNED TASKSMaintains working knowledge of all aspects of facility's financial software systemTimely posting and review payments and chargesDaily management of census activitiesMedicare Triple Check prior to billingMonth end A/R reconciliationTimely preparation and distribution of statements and accounting reports Account adjustments Provide per diem change notification and pro rate accounts accordinglyMedicaid, Medicare, and Private Insurance Billing Maintain census statistics for annual report completionProvide information regarding billing concerns or questionsEnsure resident fund accounting is accurate and all requirements are metCompose and distribute a quarterly accounting of resident fund transactions Ensure compliance with all requirements for Medicaid Resident Fund Audit Survey preparation as assigned Vital Statistics monthly reportingPrepare Bed Capacity report as assignedPrepare financial records for the use of cost report submission and government agenciesEnsure all contracts are current and maintained (Medicaid, Medicare, Managed care plans, etc)Perform other job duties and tasks as assignedPI237534502About the Company:
